Thermal Associates supplies the WaterFurnace Synergy 3D geothermal comfort system, a hydronic all-in-one system. The geothermal heat pump provides heating in winter and cooling in summer. The hydronic geothermal system can be used in domestic hot water, radiant floor heating, and snow or ice melting applications. The heat pump provides multi-stage cooling and heating. The geothermal heating system offers functions of an air conditioner, a boiler and a furnace, all from one unit.

The geoexchange system is equipped with Copeland dual capacity scroll compressors. The Synergy 3D geothermal comfort system includes coated air coils that provide additional durability to the system. The cabinet of the heat pump is made from heavy gauge metal with a metallic finish coating. The hydronic geothermal system uses R-410A refrigerant that is ozone safe. The heat pump is also featured with a microprocessor control that offers easy troubleshooting features with on board diagnostics and fault lights.
The microprocessor control helps the heat pump to give maximum performance by sequencing all the components during operation. The Synergy 3D geothermal heat pump can be configured to give heating priority either to radiant floor heating or forced air zones, to get maximum comfort. The energy efficient heat pump provides five units of energy for every single electricity unit it uses, offering an efficiency of 500 percent. With high efficiency air cleaners, the heat pump keeps the indoor quality clean.
