A-Power Energy Generation Systems Signs Wind Turbine Technology License Agreement Signed with W2E Technologies

A-Power Energy Generation Systems has signed a technology license agreement with W2E Technologies GmbH for manufacturing, operating, servicing and selling T8x 2.0 MW wind turbines. A-Power Energy Generation Systems is a developing manufacturer of wind turbines and a leading provider of distributed power generation systems in China.

W2E Technologies through the license agreement has issued A-Power Energy Generation the right to manufacture, operate, service and sell the T8x 2.0 MW wind turbines. These activities will commence in January 2010 and they will be carried out in the United States and in China. Non-exclusive rights have also been obtained by A-Power Energy Generation for marketing the T8x products outside the United States and China. Other details of this agreement were not disclosed.
