Fidelis Energy to Install 10 MW of Photovoltaic Systems in Greece

Posted in | Solar Energy

Fidelis Energy has signed a LOI (Letter of Intent) with several multi-national companies in Greece to install and operate photovoltaic systems on their manufacturing facilities that are located throughout Greece totaling to approximately 10 MW.

In addition to providing the equipment required for the solar installations on all the sites, Fidelis Energy will also sell the energy generated from the systems to the buildings at much lesser rates than the previous electricity supplier.

President and CEO of Fidelis, James Poole, said that due to strong tax incentives from the government, Greece is poised to become a leading market for solar energy generation. The company is expecting to see an increase in number of projects in the country with its feed-in-tariffs and available grants providing impetus for solar growth.
