Harvest Energy offers a range of solar powered products such as solar gate operators. There are single swing and dual swing solar gate operators available from the company. The Star II dual swing gate operator has an actuator that has a capacity of 350lbs per arm. It is equipped with two gate systems that require 10W solar panel and separate batteries. This system has battery-backup for using solar power efficiently.

The Star II dual swing gate operator incorporates a microprocessor control board for controlling its operation. It is equipped with a stainless steel quick-release pin that can be manually operated. The gate operator’s receiver is pre-wired and it includes a transmitter. The limit switches are adjustable and on board open and close button can be used for easy servicing. The dual swing gate operator from Harvest Energy has a built-in timer for closing the gate. It has an operating voltage of 12V DC.
The dual swing solar gate operator has a 16-inch stroke Warner actuator with self-lubrication. AC or solar charging feature is available with this gate operator. Other features of this gate operator include free exit loop detector, fused board protection, right/left hand operation, push/pull gate to open and an adjustable current sense for safety. Other options available with this solar gate operator include intercom systems, telephone entry systems, safety edges, safety photo eyes, magnetic and mechanical locks, powder coated control box, keypads, and key switches and buttons that are wired or wireless.
