Independent Energy Solutions Inc., a leader in solar energy development as well as construction, has completed a rooftop PV solar system of utility scale for Wilco Industries located at Vista, California.
This solar system, with the capacity to generate in excess of 454,000 W of electricity, has been developed under a contract for RES (Renewable Energy Services), SDG&E as well as the local utility. This project has its funding from the Sustainable Communities Program of SDG&E that erects green energy systems and helps meet renewable energy needs as well.
This solar electric system has an installation of 2,112 solar panel modules of Kyocera. The system has an annual electricity production capacity of 670,940 kWh, an equivalent of powering 61 average homes per year while being environment friendly by way of offsetting CO2 greenhouse gases in excess of 870,000 pounds.
