Solar Nation has commissioned and installed a solar-electric system for Metallion Industries. This solar system with 31 kW capacity has been installed in Metallion’s building situated in Estacada, Oregon. This new system comprises 130 units of SolarWorld Sunmodule solar panels that cover an area of 2,354 sq. ft of the overall pre-existing roofspace.
Solar energy provides direct financial benefits and reduces operating costs, over time and provides for stronger businesses, employers and satisfied customers as well.
The cells of the solar panels were produced in Oregon while the modules were put together in California. In order to stabilize as well as reduce the energy costs, Metallion Industries has opted for installing an extra solar-electric system. While improving the environment and cutting down on carbon emissions, the solar-energy system is anticipated to avoid a considerable volume of CO2 during its 25-year warranty life.
