Raum's 3.5 kW wind turbine's direct-drive, gearless, brushless design allows continued performance in an extremely wide range of conditions with no components that require regular maintenance. With only two moving parts, 20 year life expectancy is standard.
Easy Power
Installation is easy and is designed so the end-user can install the turbine without cranes, harnesses or climbing. With a Raum Energy tower, all that is required to lift the tower is a simple gin-pole and vehicle.
Raum's 3.5 kW wind turbine is designed to operate at sites with wind speed averages of 3 m/s and greater (11 km/h or 7 mph). The system can provide over 500 kWh per month, or 16 kWh per day, in a 5.4 m/s average wind (19.4 km/h or 12 mph).
