The fuel loading door of the wood stove is equipped with adjustable hinges and a door latch to give an air tight seal. The door of the stove features a ceramic insulation of one and a half inches thickness to minimize warping. The door is also designed with cool coil handles. The Kuuma wood burning sauna stove includes an additional heat shield of 1/4-inch thickness on the back wall. The rock hopper rock features a bottom made of 5/16 inch steel plate. In addition, a hot water reservoir made of stainless steel is included with the sauna stove. The hot water reservoir can be attached to the stove easily.

The combustion air in the Kuuma wood burning stove flows through the carburetor to burn logs from front toward back and helps to increase the burning of gasses. The wood stove, manufactured by Lamppa Manufacturing, is available in three sizes, namely, small, medium and large. The dimensions of a small sauna stove are 14 x 18 x 32 inches. As optional, the sauna stove is included with different accessories such as stainless steel hot water tank, ash pan, water coil, heat shield, and throat extension.
