GE Energy offers the 1.2 Megawatt (MWAC) Solar Plant. This solar plant model includes all the structural details and equipments prior organized for easy and quicker construction of the plant. The scalable equipments utilized in the construction of the plant are matched for the performance thus allowing easy installation and quicker grid connected commissioning.
1.2 Megawatt (MWAC) Solar Plant
This Solar Plant is designed to be installed over a 7.5 acre rectangular plot. The equipments such as adequate number of solar modules, ground mount fixed angle racks, two numbers GE Brilliance solar inverters, DC power collectors, wires, data collection sensors to collect weather data and assembling equipments are included in the total plant module. The 600 kW GE inverter included in the 1.2 MWAC solar plant incorporates grid compatible patented features such as SunFREE for controlled reactive power during all types of operating conditions, and SunRIDE-THRU to manage grid trouble conditions such as zero voltage, low voltage and high voltage. The SunIQ allows monitoring and controls at plant level which includes software tools, a SCADA system and other diagnostics tools required to keep the system running.
The other features of the 1.2 MW solar plant provided by GE Energy includes an easy to integrate system design, scalability of the plant to meet the scope of the project, flexibility to integrate with a variety of solar modules, and availability of suitable designs for varying weather and soil conditions. This plant module is designed to operate in a range of temperatures from -20 to +50°C, in wind speed up to 90 mph, bear a snow load up to 20lb/sq.ft and array tilt up to 25 degree.
