Constellation Electric Provides Constellation Electric CleanEnergy Service

Constellation Electric is providing residential customers with a renewable electricity supply service Constellation Electric CleanEnergy in Central Maryland in the service area of the BGE utility. This new offering provides customers with the ability to completely utilize renewable wind energy resources for meeting all their electricity requirements.

Constellation Electric offers a 100% wind product at a two- or one-year fixed rate plan. Customers wishing to avail the wind offer through Constellation Electric CleanEnergy can send their applications till June 25, 2010.

Customers can choose non-renewable supply alternatives and select between different fixed prices. Customers do not have to pay any additional taxes, charges or fees for registering with Constellation Electric.

This service is provided by BGE Home Products & Services, Inc. that conducts its operations as Constellation Electric and is different from the regulated utility BGE. Green-e Energy has certified Constellation Electric CleanEnergy. This certification means that Constellation Electric CleanEnergy complies with the minimum consumer protection and environmental standards set by the Center for Resource Solutions.
