Solar-Powered Street Lighting Systems from Sepco

Sepco offers solar-powered street lighting systems in a number of models. The street lighting models include a right sized solar electric power assembly suiting the application and location requirements, a street light refractor (SLR) or a street light cut off (SLC) and a side of pole bracket to fix the light over a pole. The power assembly used in the lighting systems incorporates a single crystal solar module pasted over a single array and fully covered by vented aluminum panel and welded to the rear channel mounting brackets.

The vented aluminum battery storage assembly incorporates single or double sealed GEL batteries and other control electronic features. The power assembly components are bonded to a 5 in. x 15 in. x 45 in. sized welded aluminum power bracket that can be easily bolted to a pole or wall. The lighting holding head fixture used for lighting has a cobra head design and incorporates lexan refractor in SLR designs to offer a large oval shaped illumination. The SLC feature has a fully cutoff optics for dark sky compliance.

The SLR and SLC lighting fixtures used in this module are made of die cast aluminum and sport a deep bowl reflector with mirror like finish for improved lighting. The side of pole bracket incorporated in the model is an upsweep tapered elliptical mounting type bracket and offered in 4, 6 and 8 feet lengths and 24 in. rise.
