SOLON Black 280-09 Monocrystalline Solar Module from SOLON Corporation

SOLON Corporation offers the SOLON Black 280/09 Monocrystalline solar module. This module incorporates 72 numbers of square type monocrystalline solar cells measuring 156 x 156 mm and offers up to 14.9% efficiency.

The cells are pasted over a white composite film and kept in a frame made of anodized aluminum with two wall hooks and drainage holes. To keep the cells safely a see through type of tempered safety solar glass measuring 4 mm in thickness is utilized.

The cells are encapsulated by using EVA technology in a twin wall frame profile for maximum load bearing capability. This solar module has a height x width x depth dimension of 1980 mm x 1000 mm x 42 mm and weighs 30 kg. For the purpose of connecting the solar module a Tyco junction box with bypass diodes is used.  The prefabricated Tyco Solarlok connector comes with a USE-2 cable measuring 1200 mm in length and a 12 AWG measures 4 mm².  The SOLON Black 280/09 Monocrystalline solar module offered by SOLON Corporation offers a Pmax of 280 W (+5 /-0 W), a Vmpp of 35.20 V, an Impp of 7.96 A, a Voc of 43.69 V,  an Isc of 8.44 A and a maximum system voltage of 600 V. The series fuse rating of this module is 15 A and the module efficiency is 14.10%.

This module efficiently operates in temperature ranges –40 to +85°C, and its maximum surface load capacity is 5400 Pa. The SOLON Black 280/09 solar module meets the approval and certificate requirements of UL and UL-C listed, CEC and FSEC.
