Catch the Wind’s Vindicator Laser Wind Sensor (LWS) Certified by GL Renewables Certification

Catch the Wind a developer and producer of Vindicator laser wind sensor (LWS) and allied wind sensing merchandises has signed an accord with GL Renewables Certification (GL), an autonomous set up for renewable energy certification.

GL Renewables Certification is a division of GL group and engaged in providing certificates necessary for the wind turbines, wind farms and the components used in the wind turbine manufacturing process. This certification body interprets the basics of renewable technology and the required standards that are to be met in the working process for certification of the installed vindicator and its safety and performance, wind velocity, wind direction measurement and yaw control The high tech certificates provided by GL Renewables are accepted by bankers and insurers engaged in renewal energy business .and is valid for all types of utility wind turbines.

Phil Rogers, President and CEO of Catch the Wind Ltd said that the current accord with GL Renewables Certification coincides with the company’s plan to work with a major company to authenticate the functioning of Vindicator laser wind sensor. He added that such an autonomous body certification will increase the chances of market acceptance for the product and permit the installation of the product without invalidating the certification of the manufacturer.

The GL Renewables Certification is anticipated to complete the certification process around October 2010.
