XYG Glass, the marketing arm of Xinyi Glass a Vancouver, B.C. based solar glass manufacturing company has expanded into solar glass manufacturing facility by Xinyi Glass and detailed the product offerings by the company.
Currently Xinyi Glass utilizes its three solar glass manufacturing facilities located at Tianjin, Wuhu and Dongguan and four exclusively earmarked lines for the production of solar glass. The company is planning to increase its current output of 2GW PV module manufacturing, to more than 4.5GW by the end of the year 2010 and looks forward to becoming a leading solar glass manufacturer globally.
For the use of back glass for PV modules Xinyi Glass offers more than 10 float glass lines to choose from. The company also provides the following solar glass products.
The low iron pattern glass provides a solar transmittance of 91% and are available in Matt/Matt (Smooth) surface and Prismatic/Matt (Stipple) patterns. The glass is available in 3.2 mm or 4.0 mm thicknesses and in 2200mm x 3300mm and 1600mm x 2100mm sizes for annealed and tempered glasses respectively.
The AR coated solar glass with improved solar transmittance from Xinyi Glass comes with special features such as high solar transmittance, durability, abrasion and chemical resistance and self cleaning facility. This glass available in a maximum size of 1600 mm x 2100 mm is available in 3.2 mm and 4.0 mm thicknesses.
Xinyi Glass also offers TCO Glass for thin film PV module and clear tempered back glass with good flatness. The solar glass products offered by Xinyi Glass are manufactured using latest machinery and technology and comply with ISO 9001, ISO 9050, ANSI Z97.1, CPSC 16CFR 1201, EN12150, ASTM C1048 standards and certification requirements.
