Sunvalley Solar to Install 804 kW Solar System for Long Life Farms

Sunvalley Solar, Inc, a solar system solutions providing company, has declared the signing of a solar power installation agreement with Long Life Farms, Inc a fresh vegetables and fish supplying company.

The contract valued over $3.69M requires setting up of an 804 kW solar system in thermal City, CA. The total structure includes installation of three solar systems comprising a total of 8,460 solar panels. The system when completed will produce 1,446,464 kWh of electricity per year. The system is expected to reach its peak production between May and October and produce extra power which can be traded with Imperial Irrigation District Utility to earn credits for usage during the bleak winter months. During its life time the system will offset 55 million pounds of CO2 emissions which is equivalent to setting 26,418 saplings.

James Zhang, Sunvalley Solar’s CEO, called it the first major system to incorporate thin film solar panels. He further said that his company is planning to work in close association with PV Powered and Tianwei Solarfilms which are involved in the project and Long Life Farms to make certain that the installation provides utmost benefits to the customer. He also detailed his working with other firms in the location to provide cost effective, eco friendly and clean solar power.
