Sunvalley Solar to Install Solar Power Systems for Prime Time Produce

Sunvalley Solar, a solar technology providing and solar systems integrating company, declared that it has contracted a deal with Prime Time Produce (Sun & Sand Enterprises) for completing a commercial solar installation in Coachella, California.

Prime Time Produce grows, stores and sends assorted colored peppers all through the year to places in the United States.

In accordance with the terms of the signed accord, Sunvalley Solar will supply and install a 285 kW solar system with 3,000 solar panels manufactured by Tianwei Solarfilms and a 260 kW solar inverter produced by PV Powered. Total value of the deal is estimated to be around $1,311,000. The solar installation is sustained by a $630K incentive provided by a local utility company and tax cash grants amounting to $393K from the Federal Treasury Department.

The installation of the solar system at Prime Time Produce will commence in the early part of 2011. The system is anticipated to produce around 437,952 Kilowatt- hours of clean solar energy every year. The company has entered into an agreement with Imperial Irrigation District, a local utility company, to trade the surplus power and earn credits during the peak summer months to offset its power requirement in the solar lean winter months.
