Praxair Electronics Receives New Contracts from China

Praxair Electronics has received three new contracts from solar companies in China. The company has received contracts from ShanXi LuAn Solar Energy, Trina Solar Energy and Realforce Solar for the supply of silane, ammonia and bulk atmospheric gases required by them.

The company presently meets the supply requirements of over 50 solar fabrication companies all over the world with a combined production capability of 6 GW and it also remains  an important gas provider to the polysilicon segment. The delivery systems, expertise and the gas supply products supplied by the company meets the production requirements of thin-film and crystalline solar cells. The company also supplies specialty gases such as boron dopants, nitrogen, phosphorus, hydrogen, high purity oxygen, ammonia and silane along with the required supply equipment.

Praxair also provides the whole range of planar and tubular sputtering targets for fixing metal and transparent conducting oxide (TCO) thin-film layers that are significant for the improved function of photovoltaic devices. The gas and deposition materials supplied by Praxair are utilized by the solar companies to achieve cost-effective production of solar products to attain growth in the competitive solar market.
