Stellar Solar has recently designed a 60 kW commercial solar system for the San Diego Cardiac Center. Stellar Solar had also performed the installation of the 252-panel solar system for the cardiac center.

San Diego Cardiac Center's new 60kW Stellar Solar system

The company had earlier executed a 500 kW solar project at the Salk Institute. Stellar Solar’s reputation for the installation of large commercial installations had led to its selection for the San Diego Cardiac Center project.

Dr. Ron Miller, MD., at the San Diego Cardiac Center, stated that the installation of the solar system helped the center to save a considerable amount of money and also enabled the center to express its commitment to environmental leadership. The cost of producing the center’s own solar electricity was around 70% lesser than the cost of power from SDG&E. The contribution to a cleaner environment in San Diego leading to healthier residents was also pleasing, he added.

Michael Powers, the VP of Sales and Marketing at Stellar Solar, stated that being selected for the solar installation project at San Diego Cardiac Center was an honor.

The San Diego Cardiac Center provides diagnosis, prevention, intervention and treatment in cardiology. Stellar Solar has provided over 600 solar installations in the Southwest ranging from 2 kW to 1 MW. The company provides commercial and residential PV solar designs.
