Zentric, an advanced battery technologies company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with OneEnergy, a private R&D company in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for innovative fuel cell battery technology.
The President of Zentric, William Tien stated that the collaboration with OneEnergy provides the company an established research and development partner and also an innovative technology for fuel cell batteries. The fuel cell battery is ideal for application in electric vehicles (EV) as the technology considerably improves the performance of the vehicle and enables them to travel longer distances on the same charge.
Zentric’s CEO, Jeff Mak commented that OneEnergy will also be a distribution partner for their entire product range in Malaysia and Singapore. The partnership significantly enhances research and development capabilities of Zentric.
Ken Chua, OneEnergy’s Executive Director, noted that Zentric is a perfect partner as they lead in the development and distribution of advanced patented battery technologies. He also added that their collaboration with Alpha Lujo, a manufacturer of electric cars, will offer an ideal application for OneEnergy’s fuel cell technology.
Zentric believes in making significant contribution to save the environment via the development of enhanced patented battery technologies and also supports green initiatives. The company is actively involved in solar development and will continue to look for opportunities to take part in global green and alternative energy initiatives.
