A subsidiary of Premier Holdings, WEPOWER Ecolutions, has declared the installation of its Falcon 12kW Vertical Axis Wind Turbine at Crain Memorial Welcome Center, which is situated at 12480 Crain Highway, Newburg, Maryland. The turbine will be installed in May 2012.
The company has associated with other wind-energy operators including Metal Foundations Industries, Jet Industries, InterMountain Wind and Solar and All In Energy Solutions, for installing the wind turbine.
During 2011, Charles County initiated the Crain Memorial Welcome Center project to save energy and it was greatly supported by Governor Martin O'Malley. He announced a $50,000 grant under Maryland Clean Energy Center for the project. The funds will be used for installing the turbine and generating power using other sustainable methods.
Kevin Donovan who serves as the CEO of WEPOWER Ecolutions was happy about the wind turbine installation and stated that the company with other associates helps Charles County, Maryland to reach its objective by using more renewable and sustainable energy resources. In addition, he appreciated the dedication of the project team to bring in energy solutions for conserving environment, whilst, enlightening the tourists about renewables.
