CRC Solar, a company manufacturing fixed tilt ground mount racking systems, has announced that a specially designed solar racking has been provided for Lone Star College located in Houston, Texas.

The company together with Ignite Solar, a solar developer, delivered a fixed tilt ground mount racking system that was designed specially to withstand hurricane force winds. CRC installed this racking system at the Lone Star College campus in order to help the latest introductory classes in Alternative and Renewable Energy Ideas and Solutions.

CRC Solar received a task of supplying an attractive and durable racking solution along with both monocrystalline and thin film modules, which can survive 130 mph of hurricane force winds and also can protect from corrosion for more than 20 years. Low-cost and ease of installation were the additional design parameters.

CRC Solar headquartered in Kansas belongs to a subsidiary of The Bradbury Group. Ten roll forming lines are present at the company’s 52,000 square-foot plant. The company has the capability of including pre-punching potential of up to 330 t, robotic welding and turnkey fabrication. Many regional companies in the Midwest are included in the customer list.
