Pasadena, California-based Cogar International Energy has successfully completed the testing of a commercial-sized prototype of the Hydro-Electric Reactor, the company’s green energy technology that enables continuous production of large quantities of clean, reliable green energy using only atmospheric air.

The green energy technology produces electricity in commercial scale without using any fossil fuel. The prototype requires just a portion of external energy input to produce renewable clean energy in large quantities. It produces 100 kW of electricity by using 75 kW of electricity. With as high as 20 generators, the novel technology is capable of generating 2,000 kW of electricity by utilizing just 500 kW input.

The Hydro-Electric Reactor technology is capable of substituting nuclear, solar, windmill, bio-mass, geo-thermal, gas and coal power plants from all over the world, within 30 years. It holds potential in solving the existing energy crisis, global warming and oil dependence. It is capable of generating more than 1,000,000 MW of sustainable clean energy annually without releasing any type of adverse chemicals.

The sustainable energy technology is capable of producing electricity at a price of below 1 US Cent/kWh as it does not involve daily operating costs at all. At present, Cogar International Energy is conducting discussions to distribute several thousand megawatts of renewable energy to customers all over the world. The company is also working on the development of all-electric green energy engines to substitute existing internal-combustion engines used in vehicles worldwide.
