Total Environmental Restoration Solutions (TERS) has recently helped a family in Westchester County, NY which was facing an environmental emergency. In their New York residential property, 100 gallons of oil got accidentally spilt and became a biohazard.
The TERS disaster recovery experts responded rapidly and contained the oil spill. They also performed the paper work and the EPA requirements during the decontamination process for the oil spill.
TERS has been providing environmental cleanup and restoration services to government bodies, businesses and families for more than 20 years. It provides a range of services such as asbestos and mold removal, fire and smoke damage, sewage leak cleanup, and water damage and flood cleanup.
In case of an emergency, the experts set up equipment to prevent spread of the oil and also assess the quality of air both within and outside the house. The volatile organic compounds are continuously assessed before and after the cleanup. Indoor air quality is very important in case of duct cleaning, smoke damage restoration, and asbestos and mold abatement. This may ensure safety if the families want to stay within their residence.
The company uses cleansing products that are environmentally friendly. This helps preserve the safety of the air in the home as harmful chemicals are not introduced. TERS experts do not mask the air contamination or odor, which is not an effective safety measure.
