SolarCity® is expanding to Delaware and the Eastern Shore of Maryland to make it possible for many area homeowners and businesses to install solar panels for free and pay less for solar electricity than they pay for utility power. SolarCity opened a new, 9,600 square-foot operations center in Seaford, Del., this week.
SolarCity previously offered limited service in the area from operations centers in Maryland and New Jersey. The new location will allow SolarCity to better service Delaware along with the entire Eastern Shore of Maryland.

SolarCity is expanding to Delaware in large part due to the efforts of the state, including its strong support of fair net metering policies and a cost-effective renewable portfolio standard.
