New Smart Power Solution with Solar Charge Control from Victron Energy

Victron Energy announces the launch of EasySolar, an integrated, smart, total power solution. All that is needed to reap the full benefit of solar energy is EasySolar, some solar panels and batteries.

EasySolar

EasySolar takes power solutions one stage further; by combining an Ultra-fast BlueSolar charge controller (MPPT), an inverter/charger and AC distribution all in one enclosure. With an extensive reduction in wiring EasySolar provides ease of use combined with a maximum return on investment. When using the 24V model, it is possible to use up to 1400 Watt of solar power and with 1600VA continuous inverter power, even peaks of 3000 Watt can be handled without any problems.

EasySolar features:

Solar charge control with the BlueSolar MPPT 75/50

Up to three strings of solar panels can be connected with three sets of PV connectors. The MPPT charge controller controls the voltage for the consumer and the batteries. Efficient energy distribution is guaranteed.

Inverter/charger providing 1600 VA continuous inverter power

The MPPT charge controller and the inverter/charger share the DC battery cables so no additional wiring is needed. The batteries can be charged with solar power and/or with AC power from the utility grid or a genset. Consumers are always assured of energy, even when the sun isn't providing sufficient energy for electrical appliances. The inverter/charger can provide 1600 VA continuous inverter power, so even peaks of 3000 Watt can be handled by EasySolar. This means that switching on kitchen appliances like a microwave is no problem.

AC distribution

The AC distribution consists of an RCD and four AC outputs protected by circuit breakers. One output is controlled by the AC input and will switch on only when AC is available. No additional fuse box is needed anymore; EasySolar provides an easy-to-use, cost efficient and safe solution for AC distribution at for example a holiday home.

Added to all this, unique PowerAssist technology protects the utility or generator supply from being overloaded, by adding extra inverter power when needed.
