Star Energy Partners Promotes Clean Energy in Ohio Schools though Green Energy Give Back Program

Star Energy Partners (Star), a premier energy provider focusing on bringing green energy solutions to homes and businesses throughout Ohio, is partnering with private and charter schools across the state to promote clean energy though its newly launched Green Energy Give Back program.

This community initiative is designed to give schools money for projects and improvements that they wouldn't otherwise be able to afford, while simultaneously helping to create a cleaner environment.

In the initial launch, more than 100 schools were invited to participate in this turnkey fundraising opportunity. The program will run from March 1-31, 2015. For every household that elects to enroll with Star Energy Partners for renewable energy through the Green Energy Give Back program, Star will give $50 to the referring school.

"This program is a win-win-win for Ohio schools, the local community and the environment," said Tony Banks, Chief Executive Officer of Star Energy Partners. "We've provided a simple and rewarding program for schools to use and have put no restrictions on how the earned dollars are spent, giving educators a boost wherever they need it."

School administrators that would like more information on the Green Energy Give Back program or are interested in signing up are encouraged to contact Brooke Levy by phone at (844) 708-6617 or by email at [email protected]. You can also learn more by visiting www.starenergypartners.com/gegb.

"We continue to look for ways to not only improve green energy options for the people of Ohio, but for ways to give back to our local communities where we live and work," added Banks.
