Zep Inc. (NYSE:ZEP), a leading manufacturer of cleaning and maintenance products, has introduced a new line of biodegradable detergents and cleansers ideally suited for supermarkets, bakeries, butcher shops, delis, taverns, cafeterias, institutional kitchens, restaurants and similar facilities in the growing food services sector.
ProVisions offers food service managers a variety of unique features designed to streamline operations and diminish the possibility of using the wrong product for a cleaning task, a major problem in food service operations. The product labels are color-coded and easy to read, instructions are bi-lingual, and packaging is easy to handle and store.
The Zep ProVisions line includes four types of pot and pan detergents (one of which is antibacterial,) lime and scale remover, and an equipment cleaner which is phosphate-free, butyl-free, and non-flammable. “Zep is experiencing growing customer interest in our environmentally-friendly product lines.
