To capitalize on the growing interest in rainwater harvesting and to further expand the company's reach in the backyard gardening market, environmental products supplier, Natural Environmental Systems, LLC, recently expanded their portfolio of environmentally responsible products to now include a complete line of rain barrels and rainwater tanks from RTS Plastics.
Included in this line is the popular Flat Back Rain Barrel, which features an authentic oak barrel appearance and flat back design for a flush fit next to walls. Flat Back Rain Barrels have a 50 gallon water storage capacity and are available in 4 colors: green, brown, tan and wood grain.
Also available is a unique Trickle System rain barrel with an 86 gallon storage capacity. Gravity fed, water from the trickle system tank is used to keep the end-capped irrigation pipes constantly filled with water and feeding your lawn or garden. Pipes run 8-12 inches below the ground and feed water to where plants need it the most. Through soil saturation, the system will only use as much water as the soil and plants can absorb.
For larger rainwater harvesting, above ground 214 gallon rainwater storage tanks and underground 574 gallon storage tanks are also available. Each comes equipped with submersible sump pumps for easy usage of the captured water. The 214 gallon tank is available in Kentucky Green, Dark Tan, Mud Brown, Red Clay, or Black and the 574 gallon underground tank comes in white only.
Optional accessories are also available such as rain barrel stands for the smaller barrels and link kits for linking multiple barrels together.
