Dixon Power Systems designs portable solar electric power supply systems. The Power Rover solar electric power supply system has been specifically designed to provide power in remote locations. This system has a total weight of 185 pounds and measures 30 inches, 65 inches and 42 inches in width, depth and height, respectively. It provides noiseless operation using a voltage of 12 volt DC and can be switched on and off with the help of a switch. The Power Rover portable solar electric power supply system consists of solar panels with the capability to generate a maximum power of 100 watts. These solar panels must be washed on a periodical basis and plugged to the A/C battery charger during storage. The other features of this portable solar electric power supply system include fused circuits and a temperature controlled fan.
