Hydro Pump Company Offers HCH Series Horizontal Water Source Geothermal Heat Pumps

Hydro Pump Company distributes different models of geothermal and water source equipment from Comfort-Aire and GeoExcel. Geothermal equipment can be designed and installed through the company’s trained staff. The Comfort-Aire HCH series horizontal water source heat pump is meant for boiler-tower applications. It includes refrigerant circuits, which utilize compressors and cab tube metering devices to add reliability to the unit.

The HCH series horizontal water source heat pump meets the efficiencies of ASHRAE 90.1 with 13.0 EER and from 4.2 to 4.6 COP. The torsion-flex mounting system and double isolation compressor mounting designed for blower motors provide smooth operation. This water source heat pump offered by Hydro Pump Company is equipped with a CXM control board along with a sentinel to monitor and alert users when problems are identified. It is constructed with G90 galvanized steel. The drain pan is insulated and has condensate overflow protection.

The HCH series horizontal water source heat pump is available in different models. The HCH042B3C30CRS water loop heat pump is a model of 208/230V-3-60. It has a heating capacity of 52,600 BTUH and a cooling capacity of 41,000 BTUH. This heat pump model has 12.0 EER and 4.2 COP. The HCH series included eight safety features for trouble-free operation. They are: low voltage, high voltage, low refrigerant pressure, high refrigerant pressure, anti-short cycle, water coil freeze, air coil freeze and condensate overflow.
