Energex Pellet Fuel manufactures pellet fuels for residential and industrial use. The residential pellets are produced from 100% natural wood sawdust using high-tech control system. The premium grade wood pellet fuels manufactured by the company are utilized in residential pellet stoves, boilers and furnaces. These pellet fuels can also be used in fireplaces and woodstoves that have the Prometheus pellet fuel basket.
Premium Grade Residential Pellets
The premium grade residential pellets are produced from the softwood and hardwood varieties of pellets. These pellets are prepared from clean sawdust, which is free of bark and additives. The residential pellets exceed the premium grade standard of the Pellet Fuel Institute. Energex Pellet Fuel’s softwood pellets are produced to provide high heating. The softwood pellets are tested to yield an average of 9000 BTU per pound. The average ash content produced by these soft pellets is 0.5% and the moisture content is from 5% to 6%.
No sulfur emissions are produced from the premium grade residential pellets. The softwood pellets have clean burning resins used for igniting. They are auger-friendly pellets that create less noise when fed into the burn pot. The pellet fuels are packaged and sealed in plastic bags of 20 and 40 pounds and the bags are 14% thicker compared to other bags. They are palletized to make the product tight and weather resistant.
