PowerGate 100kW Hybrid Solar PV Inverters from SatCon

SatCon manufactures a range of PowerGate Plus solar PV inverters to provide continuous power even in harsh weather. It offers solar PV inverters with power ratings ranging from 30kW to 1MW. The PowerGate 100kW hybrid solar PV inverter available from the company is an off-grid inverter that converts DC power into AC power and then supplies it to an off-grid.

The PowerGate 100kW hybrid solar PV inverter incorporates a proprietary Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) system. The MPPT system helps to increase the Photo voltaic plant’s production and also offers a range of operation on photovoltaic cell technologies. All through the MPPT DC voltage range, the array nameplate power rating is retained. This PV inverter from SatCon is conformal coated to stand against air-pollution and excessive humidity. It is equipped with dual cooling fans, DC and AC disconnect switches, isolation transformer and protective cover. The DC two-pole disconnect switch separates the inverter from photovoltaic power system for easy maintenance.

The PowerGate 100kW hybrid includes PV inverter having an output of 480V AC, generator having an input of 480V AC and battery having 240V DC input and output. The output voltage range of this inverter is 432 to 528V AC and the nominal output voltage is 480V AC. The output frequency range is 59.5 to 60.5Hz and the nominal output frequency is 60Hz. This inverter utilizes three phases, each phase has a maximum output current of 121A and the maximum overcurrent protection of 145A.
