After installing pipes, the trenches are filled and closed. The vertical loop design is selected for installation if the available space is limited. The depth of the well is decided based on the heating and cooling requirements. Pond loops are installed if the available pond has sufficient amount of water and adequate depth. Open loop systems can be installed using the available ground water.
