The Most Accurate and Reliable Pyranometer Available – The SMP22

The SMP22 is a secondary standard pyranometer, which integrates the new smart interface with sensor technology and quartz domes from the CMP22. It has a well-established track record, making it the world’s most precise and dependable pyranometer. The SMP22 has the widest spectral range, better directional response, and decreased thermal offsets. Its internal desiccant is built to last for at least a decade, reducing maintenance greatly.

It is possible for the interval for dome cleaning to be extended, and for the quality of measurements to be increased further by equipping the SMP22 with a CVF4 ventilation unit. The SMP22 has individual temperature corrected measurement data, a digital interface, and improved response time. It is provided with individually measured cosine response data. The broad and low power supply range of 5-30 VDC enables easy integration of solar energy and meteorological stations.

Standardized output and connections of all SMP22s allow an easy exchange of instruments for recalibration. The SmartExplorer Windows™ software is a standard feature provided for data logging, data display and Modbus® address setting.
