Kipp & Zonen manufactures the CMP6 and CMP11 Albedometer kits.
CMP6 Albedometer Kit
An albedometer is designed by using two independent CMP6 pyranometers having a CMF1 mounting plate and rod and glare screen equipment for the lower pyranometer.
The CMP6, an ISO 9060:1990 First Class albedometer kit, is suitable for defining the ratio of irradiance reflected to the irradiance received by a surface (albedo). The outcome is seen on a scale ranging from 0 (no reflection) to 1 (total reflection).
Since two independent pyranometers are provided with a mounting fixture (rod and plate) and a glare screen for the lower pyranometer, different configurations are possible.
The CMB1 mounting bracket can be used to mount the rod to a wall or pole.
If the CMF1 mounting fixture is swapped with the CMF4 model, the CVF4 ventilation unit can be used with the lower and/or upper pyranometers. However, when a lower ventilation unit is used, the glare screen cannot be added.
In case a lower CVF4 is used, a special glare screen is available.
Its quality and economical features make the CMP6 albedometer kit suitable for hydrology, meteorology and agricultural applications.

CMP11 Albedometer Kit
The CMP11 Albedometer Kit from Kipp & Zonen is an upgrade in performance from the CMP6 kit. It is designed for scientific applications, for which accuracy has to match maximum standards.
The CMP11, an ISO 9060:1990 Secondary Standard albedometer kit, is designed to measure the ratio of irradiance reflected to the irradiance received by a surface (albedo). The outcome is seen on a scale ranging from 0 (no reflection) to 1 (total reflection).
Since two independent pyranometers are provided with a mounting fixture (rod and plate) and a glare screen for the lower pyranometer, different configurations are possible.

Its quality and economical features make the CMP11albedometer kit suitable for hydrology, meteorology and agricultural applications.
