Georgie Lyng is a freelance writer, with a strong interest in environmental issues, a focus on sustainable technologies, climate change science, improving biodiversity, and protection of natural ecosystems.

She was born in Reading but now lives in Somerset, England with her partner and a multitude of rescue animals.

Georgie, who is diagnosed with Aspergers autism, left a successful career as a Customer Services Manager in the brewing industry in 2006, to help establish AH Test Designs Ltd, a small engineering company with her partner, and to pursue her writing interests.  

She completed an Open University BSc Environment Studies degree in 2016, enjoys researching environment issues, and writing about the latest scientific developments in industry, and sustainable solutions to help protect the environment.
