Magnetek Receives Order for E-Force Wind Power Inverters

Magnetek, Inc. has received a manufacturing order for the company’s E-Force wind power inverters. This order is valued at around $6 million.

The modular wind power inverters of utility-scale from Magnetek regulate and convert the wind turbine-generated DC power into AC power of utility-grade, which is then fed into the power transmission grid. The delivery of the inverters will commence in September 2010 and continue till December 2010.

The General Manager and Vice President of Magnetek Energy Systems Brad Taylor said that the order for E-Force wind power inverters will help the company move in the direction of its goal, which is to achieve the status of becoming a significant utility-scale power inverters provider for the renewable energy market.
