Bloo Solar Chooses CVD Equipment Corporation for Developing Equipment for ‘Solar Brush’

Renewable solar energy firm Bloo Solar has chosen CVD Equipment Corporation for developing and manufacturing the equipment for the former’s 3D 3rd generation architecture, thin-film solar module ‘Solar Brush’.

Bloo Solar has commenced the wafer development production of ‘Solar Brush’ and intends to roll out the modules into the market in 2012. Bloo Solar, by choosing CVD Equipment Corporation as its partner, will create an essential process for the coating of Transparent Conductive Oxide (TCO).

In comparison with existing PV technologies, ‘Solar Brush’ has numerous advantages. The 3D architecture offers superior light trapping, minimum recombination and more surface area to offer more efficiency and an overall power output of around 1.5 – 3 times higher in comparison with existing technologies.

CVD Equipment Corporation offers offline LPCVD for the coating of ZnO and both online and offline CVDgCoat APCVD for the coating of fluorine doped SnO2 (SnO2:F).
