Recurve is likely to provide deferred remodeling payments as well as free audits for Berkeley residents who fall in the eligibility criteria for the novel Money for Energy Efficiency (ME2) rebate program.
Recurve provides home services that allow contractors and homeowners to create energy-efficient, healthy homes by means of green energy remodeling and home energy audits.
By the year 2020, the ME2 program, being an essential part of the Climate Action Plan of Berkeley, is likely to assist the community obtain a 33% reduction in emissions of greenhouse gases. It is anticipated that business owners and residents will be saving more than $100 million in terms of net energy savings. The ME2 program along with PG&E rebates will be providing eligible homeowners around $8,500 per unit. Recurve will be providing services that improve home energy efficiency for Berkeley residents.
