Enphase Launches Solar-Integrated Environ Smart Thermostat

Enphase Energy Inc. has launched the Environ Smart Thermostat. A global major in providing solar microinverter systems, the company has launched the world’s first smart energy device that is solar integrated.

The Environ Smart Thermostat is an advanced device that is connected to the Enphase Microinverter System, thus allowing users to manage simultaneously their solar installations with their cooling and heating systems through a single platform that is web-based.

The Environ integrates seamlessly with the Enphase Microinverter System by way of the Zigbee wireless connection, which is the standard protocol required for smart energy systems. This connection facilitates users for controlling indoor climate via a smart phone or web browser and directly with the thermostat that is wall-mounted. The communication technology that is in-built into each Enphase Energy system facilitates plug-and-play integration along with smart energy systems, thus making the process of installation, a simple one.
