Ameridian Incorporates Flexible Thin Film Solar Panels for Power Production

United Solar, a manufacturer of roof top and building integrated photovoltaic solar modules under the brand name UNI-SOLAR and a fully owned auxiliary company of Energy Conversion Devices and Inovateus Solar its partnering company, has announced the completion of the 80 kW photovoltaic module installation at the Ameridian Specialty Services Corporate headquarters at Cincinnati Ohio on 4th August.

The PV installation facility completed at Ameridian incorporates Inovateus solar panels coated with UNI-SOLAR flexible thin-film. Each panel carries a light weight and single ply roofing membrane offering a module power to generate 144 W. Matt Owoens, who works in Ameridian's Solar and Renewable Energy Division as Director of Operations and a NABCEP certified solar installer said, that his company is engaged in installing similar systems in other commercial companies. He added, such installations over a 30,000 square foot area will significantly improve the image of the company which wants to lead by example, and explained how he is planning to bring in his clients to the office to show around the functioning of the system.

Chris Bala, VP Sales of United Solar’s Central Region in America, expressed his happiness about working with Ameridian Specialty Services and Inovateus. He added that by installing the system in their own head quarters, Ameridian Specialty Services has shown their commitment towards clean energy. Peter Rienks, Key Accounts Manager in Inovateus Solar, expressed his happiness about associating with Ameridian and added that, the company by introducing solar services has received incentives from Ohio and saved on their installation costs.
