Ascent Solar Technologies Inc. has signed a distribution agreement with China’s Radiant Holding Ltd. Under the agreement, Radiant Holding will be distributing the solar modules of Ascent Solar Technologies across China.
Ascent Solar Technologies will be able to directly integrate its solar modules into the facade and metal roofing systems of Radiant Holding. Radiant Holding will begin distributing Ascent Solar Technologies’ thin-film, high-power, flexible, lightweight CIGS solar modules meant for BIPV, portable and automotive power solutions across China.
This agreement with Radiant Holding has given Ascent Solar Technologies access into numerous market segments in the emerging solar market in China while also providing direct integration into the Radiant Holding’s lineup of building materials meant for the commercial as well as residential solutions.
Radiant Holding is planning to install the solar modules of Ascent Solar Technologies on its own metal roofing demonstration facility for the purpose of demonstrating Ascent Solar Technologies’ unique characteristics in terms of providing lightweight, flexible CIGS modules for its customers.
