A Weatherproof Outdoor Table That Stores Solar Energy

The SunTable is a weatherproof outdoor table that stores solar energy and powers electric devices.

Created by Devang A. Shah and Michael Low of Brooklyn, NY,  Devang says the SunTable is "a product that pushes people to spend more time outdoors will be beneficial for humanity. Let's get rooted in nature again, even if it's in a 21st century kind of way." Each designer served different but complimentary roles in creating the SunTable. Devang brought vision and a focus on end users' needs. Michael served the critical role of bringing the idea to reality.

"As a design team, we aim for usability and eco-awareness. We get satisfaction by finding intuitive, refined solutions to problems."

The SunTable uses a 64 Watt multicrystalline solar panel that functions even if partially covered. It fully charges in 3 hours and provides 13 amp hours of electricity, at 12 volts. That equals 156 Watt/hours in total. Enough to run a laptop for over 3 hours, or a TV for 4 hours.

SunTable is designed and assembled in the USA.
