Amonix 7700 Solar Power Generators with Dual-axis Tracking

Amonix is a manufacturer of high concentration photovoltaic systems suitable for utility scale and commercial applications. The Amonix 7700 High Concentration Photovoltaic (HCPV) system is a solar power generator designed to be cost-effective and powerful. It consists of seven patented MegaModules and uses dual-axis tracking to generate more than 40% of the energy compared to traditional fixed solar panels.

The 7700 HCPV system is powered by multi-junction solar cells to provide efficiency. It comes in a modular design so that individual solar cells can be easily upgraded. This power generation system needs lesser land and lower installation costs. It has a height of 49ft and width of 72ft. The 7700 solar power generator also consists of a hydraulic tracking drive. There are two methods used for solar tracking, namely the Sun Sensing and GPS, to receive as much energy as possible.

The output power of the 7700 solar power generator is 53kW (AC) and it generates 145,242kWh of electricity, annually. This solar generation system from Amonix is suitable for centralized solar farms. The High Concentration Photovoltaic system uses multi-junction solar cells that have an efficiency of 37%. This solar power system requires 4 to 6 acres of land per Megawatt.
