Sunmodule SW 155 Solar Modules from SolarWorld

SolarWorld manufactures solar modules by using the monocrystalline cell technology under the brand name, Sunmodule. The Sunmodule SW 155 solar module features tempered glass, which is resistant to impact, in the front, and tedlar film at the back. In between these two layers, monocrystalline cells sealed in ethylene-vinyl-acetate are placed.

Sunmodule SW 155 Solar Modules

The Sunmodule SW 155 solar module comprises 72 monocrystalline silicon cells, each measuring 125 x 125mm. This PV solar module, offered by SolarWorld, is equipped with IP 65 rated junction box and MC type 4 connectors. The flat junction box protects the module from corrosion. Further, the high quality, double-insulated cables included with the module can be used in source circuit systems that are ungrounded. The tempered glass in the solar module is set deeply into the frame and attached by silicone, which prevents loosening of the frame during heavy snow.

The Sunmodule SW 155 monocrystalline module offers maximum power of 155Wp, under standard test conditions. The standard open circuit of this solar module is 43.6V and short circuit current is 4.90A. The standard power point voltage is up to 34.8V, while the power point current is up to 4.46A. This PV module has a power tolerance of +/- 3 percent. The dimensions of this solar module are 1610mm (length), 810mm (width) and 34mm (height). The weight of this monocrystalline solar module is 15kg.
