Applications
Overview
This next-generation CO Analyzer is a sophisticated gas-sensing module designed for easy integration with Hiden Analytical's mass spectrometry (MS) systems. Developed to address the traditional analytical challenge of identifying carbon monoxide amid interfering background matrices, it offers rapid, precise quantitative analysis suitable for rigorous research and industrial applications.
- Mass Spectrometer Integration: Completely synchronized with the hardware and software of the mass spectrometer for cohesive gas analysis and efficient data acquisition
- Overcomes Complex Matrix Interference: Tailored for studies in catalysis, syngas, and biogas, providing dependable CO measurement in mixtures with multiple components (e.g., N2, CO2, CH4)
- Heated and Pressure-Compensated Housing: Constructed with a built-in heated enclosure and automatic pressure adjustment, incorporating 1/8″ Swagelok® gas connections for secure sampling without leaks
- Rapid Response Time: Offers real-time continuous monitoring with an exceptionally low response time of just 1.6 seconds
- Versatile Range Selection: Offered in a broad array of customizable measurement ranges to accommodate various process needs
Standalone CO Analyzers providing measurement ranges of 0.04–1000 ppm and 0.04–10,000 ppm are also offered, featuring data acquisition incorporated into the Hiden mass spectrometers.
