Envision Solar International Receives Honor from InterPV Magazine

InterPV Magazine has chosen Envision Solar International, Inc. as one among the top ten Photovoltaic (PV) Picks for 2010 in the world.

Envision Solar International is a solar planner, inventor and architect involved in the design and deployment of sophisticated solar systems worldwide.

Envision Solar International made it into the top ten even among competition from over 929 companies. The list includes ten of the well-performing companies in the global PV market including companies from Germany, the U.S. and Japan.

Envision Solar International, which created the LifeVillage and SolarTree, has a rich portfolio of solar integrated building solutions and solar parking arrays for companies including Dell Computers. The company was selected due to its continued focus in solar installations design and more especially for its product CleanCharge, which is an innovative hybrid electric vehicle and electric vehicle charging system. This product integrates the parking shade structures of the company Solar Trees along with electric vehicle charging stations.

Envision Solar International’s CEO Bob Noble stated that the electric vehicle charging stations find applications in plug-in electric and hybrid cars such as Chevy Volt, Toyota Prius and Nissan Leaf.
