SANYO Introduces Novel HIT Power 220A Solar Module

SANYO has raised the standard for rooftop solar modules. The company has increased the bar for the conversion efficiency of solar modules in order to offer installers and integrators improvement in their power generating capabilities by utilizing less rooftop space.

SANYO solar panels and solar cells have top tier ratings for conversion efficiency and are independently-certified.

SANYO has introduced its new solar module termed as the HIT Power 220A for offering improved energy output as well as efficiency, thus enabling more power for every square foot. The module efficiency of the HIT Power 220A is 17.4% and its cell efficiency is 19.8%. For HIT Power series, this is the fifth product, the other four being the HIT Power 220, 215, 210 as well as the 205 modules.

HIT Power solar modules are composed of 72 hybrid HIT cells which combine ultra-thin amorphous silicon layers with high-efficiency monocrystalline silicon.
