Frbiz.com, one of the major B2B search platforms in China, has announced that wind and natural gas have vast potential for development. Natural gas is a richer, cleaner energy when compared with oil. Wind power will also be an aspect for future development. Together, they have the potential to become the most promising markets for new energy.
By 2015, natural gas usage might reach 260 billion m3 and in terms of proportional energy consumption, this would denote an increase in the share value from 3.9% to 8.3%. Thus, for the period 2010-2015, the natural gas usage compound growth rate will reach around 21%. During the period 2016-2020, the annual growth in requirement for natural gas is likely to be approximately 8%. By 2020, the demand for natural gas is likely to hit 300 billion m3.
Solar and wind energy account for about 0.8% to 2.6% of the energy sources. In terms of the nation’s capacity in new wind power, China ranks number one in the world and is expected to reach 150 GW wind power capacity by 2020.
