ENN Solar Energy to Continue With Thin Film Solar Cell Know-How

ENN Solar Energy Co., Ltd engaged in the production of thin film solar modules has decided to continue with the usage of advanced silicon based thin film solar cell know-how.

This announcement came in the wake of a statement made by Applied Materials, Inc about reorganizing its Energy and Environmental Solutions (EES) section and discontinuing the sale of SunFab fully-integrated lines that allow manufacturing of thin film solar panels and its intention to retail individual tools to thin film solar module producers. Applied Materials further announced its decision to assist its SunFab clients with necessary upgrades and production capacity increases and has decided to persist with its existing research and developments.

Currently ENN Solar Energy administers its SunFab production line procured from Applied Materials to its total capacity to meet the growing requirements of its clients. The technical team involved in the production is fully conversant with all the manufacturing techniques adhered to in the production of SunFab. The company has made a number of innovations in the production process and achieved advancements and implemented them.

Mr. Hongqiu Cai, CEO of ENN Solar Energy Co., Ltd, declared the intention of the company to estimate the advantages available out of Applied Materials decision and to pursue with thin film technology to offer cost effective solar products and services. Mr.Cai expressed confidence about the ability of the ENN technical team in optimizing the power conversion efficiency of the product while reducing the production cost. He expressed his intentions to continue its good relations with Applied Materials.
